Prior to removal of any roofing material a moisture survey is performed using a Tramex
moisture scanning device. |
Any areas that register more than 15% moisture detected in the roof
are carefully mapped out on the roof drawing. |

After removal of the ballast, the
roof is surveyed using a laser
transit. Low areas are drawn on
to the roof map and recorded on
the roof. |
After gravel removal, wet
areas were cut out. By removing only the wet areas,
substantial savings were attained
in dump fees. |

All wet recovery board and
roofing were removed from the roof and transported to an
approved dump site. |
To avoid foam overspray, all
spraying was accomplished by using a wind screen. |

After additional spudding to
remove the imbedded rock, BASF
Elastospray 81302 foam was
applied to the cut out areas. |

Neogard 7419 Elastomeric
Polyurethane Base coat was applied
by roller at 4 gallons per 100 sq. ft. |
Neogard 7443 Top Coat was
applied at 2 gallons per 100 sq. ft.
for a total dry film thickness of 65
mils. |
