The Process
| Foam adheares directly to the substrate and reduces expansion
and contraction of the structure. The monolithic foam roof membrane
seals completely...no seams to split, no breaks in the membrane,
no flashing to come loose. Urethane foam is the best commercial insulation available with an R factor of 7.14 per inch. Foam is fully tested and approved for the UL CLASS A, fire rating and ICBO approved. |
| Sprayed-in-place foam is a closed cell material and is resistant to the transmission of water. Since all seams, joints and layers are eliminated with a sprayed-in-place urethane foam and elastomeric coating roofing system, water cannot enter and transmit through the system. This eliminates one of the major contributors to roofing problems - water intrusion through layered, seamed systems | ![]() |
| No other roofing system can offer all of the advantages of urethane foam and coatings. It eliminates the mechanical problems associated with conventional roofs and sheet goods systems. Flat roofs, or geometrically complex shapes are easily handled with urethane foam and coatings. There are no mechanical fastening devices to fail, create problems and cause leaks. There are no mechanical flashing details or counter flashing to cause problems. There are no seams or glue to let go and fail and there are no pathways to permit water intrusions. In short, sprayed-in-place urethane foam and elastomeric coatings eliminate all of the problems associated with conventional roofing while providing the best energy efficient, high performance, long term lightweight roofing system. |
Elastomeric Coatings

Advantages
Highly reflective Energy Star approved coatings can restore existing Single-ply, Cap Sheet, Mod Bit and metal roofs because they have elongation "memory" 150% + and can stretch and recover.
Sustainable
Polyurethane foam lasts INDEFINITELY if
protected with ELASTOMERIC coatings
Recoat top coat only, every 15 to 18 years.
Seamless
Spray applied liquid elastomeric coatings
from a solid sheet of protection
The lines that you see are where the seams used to be.
Sprayed in place polyurethane foam
Disadvantages
Requires knowledgeable highly skilled craftsmen.Application guidelines and techniques must be strictly adhered to.
Total roof failure due to inexperienced application.
Low bid suggests that all contractors are equal

Are these equal in quality?
How important is choosing the right contractor?
Foam roof application poor quality
Very Important!
Quality foam roof application
Attention to detail is critical
All details should have drawings and the finish should look like the drawing.
Correct surface prep is essential
Cutting out the drains
Power Vac gravel removal reduces total roof weight
Warranties
