Who We Are
Phoenix Coatings is one of only ten contractors in the United States to be awarded “Alpha Contractor” status through Performance Based Studies Research Group (PBSRG) Del E. Web School of Construction, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Arizona State University.
Since 1997 Phoenix Coatings has hosted the ”Phoenix Coatings Tournament of Dreams” benefiting Make a Wish Foundation and has raised over One Hundred Thirty Thousand dollars.

Attended Newark State University, the University of Phoenix and completed small business management at the Sid Craig School of Business at Fresno State University. Mr. Burk is also a member of the Alumni Association of The Roofing Industry Educational Institute (RIEI).
For five years Mr. Burk was on the faculty of the Accreditation Committee for the Spray Polyurethane Foam Association (SPFA) and instructed a two day seminar on Project Management. Tom has served on the board of directors for the Make a Wish Foundation and the State Center Community College Foundation and is a past president of the Madera Kiwanis Club. |

In 1981 founded Dynathane Inc., a Polyurethane Foam Insulation and Coatings Contractor on Anhydrous Ammonia Storage Tanks, Wine Tanks, Petrochemical and Refining Vessels as well as industrial painting and coatings. He sold the assets of Dynathane in 1990 and has been with Phoenix Coatings, Inc. since 1992.

Graduated from Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis on Accounting. Gordon has held his position with Phoenix Coatings, Inc. since 1996. |
